Evaluation of a pseudo-R2 measure for panel probit models.
A simulation study designed to evaluate the pseudo-R2T proposed in an earlier paper by Spiess and Keller suggests that, for the models considered, this measure represents the goodness of fit not only of the systematic part, but also of the assumed correlation structure in binary panel probit models.

We present a unified approach to unsupervised Bayesian learning of factor models for binary data with binary and spike-and-slab latent factors. We introduce a non-negative constraint in the spike-and-slab prior that eliminates the usual sign ambiguity present in factor models and lowers the generalization error on the datasets tested here. For the generative models we use probit functions, whic...

Evaluating Binary Alignment Methods in Microsimulation Models
Alignment is a widely adopted technique in the field of microsimulation for social and economic policy research. However, limited research has been devoted to understanding the statistical properties of the various alignment algorithms currently in use. This paper discusses and evaluates six common alignment algorithms used in the dynamic microsimulation through a set of theoretical and statist...
Multivariate Probit Analysis of Binary Time
SUMMARY The development of adequate models for binary time series data with covariate adjustment has been an active research area in the last years. In the case, where interest is focused on marginal and association parameters, generalized estimating equations (GEE) (see for example Lipsitz, Laird and Harrington (1991) and Liang, Zeger and Qaqish (1992)) and likelihood (see for example Fitzmaur...
